As recreational vehicles were gaining popularity, disaster came along their way. The depression and the crash of 1929 made people unable to purchase expensive cars. Hence the sales of RVs decreased a lot. Soon the world war 2 started, and the companies stopped the production of RV vehicles. The companies that manufactured these RVs then started making cars that would aid in the fight.

1950 Was The Year

Finally, the war ended, and the country became stable. Soon by the year 1950, RV camps gained popularity, but at that time, all the vehicles were costly. At this time, Winnebago took advantage of the market, and mass-produced a lot of RV vehicles and sold them cheap.

As the years went by, RV camps and vehicles began to get more sophisticated. People slowly forgot the actual reason for the RV vehicle. They started using to travel to Disney land instead of a beautiful campsite. The modern RV vehicles then started having all the kitchen appliances.
